A Time to Reflect
The magic of this season is more than just a frantic march to perfection, having more, better and different gifts. It is actually a time of reflection and gratitude for that which we are already blessed. A deep sincere appreciation moves energy from not enough to a sense of enough and "only onto enough can more be added."
Take a moment to reflect on your abundance:
If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep -- You are richer than 75% of this world.If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, or spare change in a dish somewhere -- You are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.
If you have never experienced the danger of battle unfolding all around you, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or pangs of starvation -- You are ahead of 500 million people.
If you can attend a church meeting without fear of persecution, harassment, arrest, torture or death -- You are more blessed than three billion people in the world.
If you can read this message, you have just received a double blessing in that someone is thinking of you, and furthermore, you are more blessed than -- over 2 billion people in the world who cannot read.
May the joy and magic of this season be yours now and in the coming year. May the new year find you and yours truly wealthy - an abundance of health, surrounded by loving, nurturing relationships and more than enough money to live your dreams.
